Fleury: Blanc de Noirs (base 2011)

Made of 100% Pinot Noir. Light golden color with a refined effervence and a nice mousse. Seductive nose of fresh figs, ripe mango, lychee, sweet honeysuckle and fresh notes of sea breeze and cucumber. After a longer while in the glass you get more pronounced lychee, ripe yellow cherries, a hint of mulberry and acacia honey. The texture is surprisingly rich with excellent concentration but at the same time fresh and vibrant. On the palate you get blood orange, rose grapefruit, sweet guava, lychee a delicate touch of acacia honey and Danish pastry with raisins. The finish is medium long and has delicious yellow kiwi and watermelon with a delicate touch of nutmeg and turmeric. This wine is remarkably well balanced with a perfect integrated dosage. This is a lovely aperitif.
