Moutard: cépage Pinot Noir “Vignes Beugneux”

Made of 100 Pinot Noir. Dosage 8g/l. Seductive nose of Mirabelle plum, tamarinde, brioche toast with currants, candied bigarreaux fruits, banana candy, Comté fruité and a distinctive smoky touch. After quite some time in the glass it started showing coconut cream, clafoutis with dark cherries, rhubarb and dried Provence herbs.  The mouthfeel is very creamy. On the palate you get mirabel, a touch of caramel, melon and floral notes of acacia and a touch of rose oil. Lovely mid palate with meringue and coriander seeds. Very atypical acidity. Mild finish with rhubarb, smoke and pomelo very reminiscent of a Puligny-Montrachet.
