Veuve Doussot: Mémory 2006

[English] Made from 60% Chardonnay and 40% Pinot Noir. Yellowgolden color with moderate, elegant effervescence. In the nose we get sulfur, apple blossom, ripe boskoop, flower honey, yellow raisin, butterscotch and oxidative notes of Madeira and Noilly Prat with Gueuze beer (bretanomyces). The nose reminded me certainly not in 2006, but rather a suspect in 2001.

[English] Made from 100% Pinot Noir. Light golden color with very fine bubbles. Disgorgement date unknown. Light golden color with nice, regular sparkle. In the nose we get yeast, citrus fruit, lemon oil, slate and with a light haze of cake. Straighth in the mouth with plenty of dynamics. Medium body. On the palate, we again

[English] Made of 85% Pinot Noir and 15% Chardonnay.citrusfruit, apple, peach, pear, orange blossom and sweet yeast. Beautiful golden yellow color with fine, but slightly impetuous sparkle. The mouthfeel is lacking texture. In the taste we get pilsner, golden delicious apple, citrus, peach and a hint of vanilla. Medium finale with light-interfering bitterness of banana peel
