Vilmart: Grand Cellier d’Or 2005

[English] A straw colour with perfect small bubbles. Very complex nose: thyme, Grand Marnier, rocks, roasted almonds, dried yellow fruit and banana. Again a vinous texture. The taste is smoky and full with also dried yellow fruits and minerals. The aftertaste is long and woody, delicious!  Perfectly balanced champagne to enjoy as a standalone.Real classy.

[English] Drunk in June 2011. Made of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. Light golden colour with very elegant bubbles. I smell pear, dried hay, sea salt and minerals and white flowers. [English] Drunk in June 2011. Made of 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay. Light golden colour with fine small streams of bubbles. I smell white flowers with cherry and plums a bit of smoke and a pinch of wood. The attack is fresh with Apples (Jona Gold), gooseberry and yeast. A medium long but dry
