Nicolas Feuillatte: Palme d’Or 1997

[English] Drunk in February 2011. Made of 40% Pinot Noir and 60% Chardonnay. Light golden color with refined, dancing pearls and a nice mousse. In the scent: pine honey, resin, slightly medicenal tones with a nice bouquet of black cardamom, angelica, liquorice, fresh herbs and grass. Too much oxidation with a hint of rotten apple.

Nicolas Feuillatte: Grande Réserve

[English] Drunk in January 2011. Nice golden color with fine pearls that form a nice mousse. In the scent: liquorice, apple and some toast. The taste has delicious ripe mango, liquorice, a bit of Star Anise and sweet tarte pastry.  Medium finish with creamyness. Easy drinking and recommended at 18 euro. [NL] Gedronken in Januari
