Penet-Chardonnet: Diane Claire (2002)

[English] Made of 2/3 Pinot Noir and 1/3 Chardonnay, no dosage added. Light golden color with refined effervescence.   The aroma is quite closed, decanting this wine would have been better. I sense: Granny Smith apple, jasmine, tillia blossom, blonde tobacco, peach, brioche bread, a hint of raspberry and minerality. Very nice structured and Vinous taste

Penet-Chardonnet: Millésime 2006

[English] Nice light golden color with perfect effercevence. Made of 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir. Aroma of bread, grapefruit, lemon (with zest), yeast. Penet-Chardonnet: Grande Réserve

[English] Made of ⅔ Pinot Noir and ⅓ Chardonnay, no dosage added. Very light yellow color with lots of  tiny bubbles. A rather oxidative aroma: walnut, sherry, Granny Smith apple, cinnamon, cumin seed and yeast. The palate is very clean and dry. I taste Granny Smith apple, lemon, and walnut. The finish is long fresh

Penet-Chardonnet: Extra-Brut Réserve

[English] Made of ⅔ Pinot Noir and ⅓ Chardonnay. Aroma of honeysuckle, lemon, grapefruit and fresh almonds. The attack is soft with grapefruit and a little bit of peach followed by lemon, vanilla and a touch of roasted almonds. The finish is fresh with lemon and minerality. A bit too acidic to my taste. [Fr.]
